Game Developer - Unreal Engine (m/f/d)

Im Rahmen unserer Entwicklung des neuen Commandos suchen wir ab sofort einen Game Developer -Unreal Engine (m/w/d).

Die Claymore Game Studios befinden sich in Darmstadt und damit in unmittelbarer Nähe zu Frankfurt am Main. Wir arbeiten an der Fortsetzung der international erfolgreichen Commandos-Serie für PC und die Konsolen der neuesten Generation. Dein Profil:

• mindestens 3 Jahre Erfahrung in der Spieleindustrie
• Du beherrschst die Entwicklung in der Unreal Engine mit C++ und Blueprints

Deine Aufgaben:

• Du arbeitest eng mit den Art und Design Departments zusammen, um Ideen und neue Gameplay-Features zum Leben zu erwecken
• Du verwendest die Unreal Engine und beherrschst deren Funktionsumfang, um den besten Weg zur Implementierung von Lösungen zu finden
• Du identifizierst selbständig technische Probleme und schlägst Lösungen vor
• Du implementierst und optimierst die Gameplay-Funktionen eines taktischen RTS
• Du optimierst den Code hinsichtlich Performance, Lesbarkeit und nimmst an Code-Reviews teil
• Du schreibst automatisierte Tests

Claymore Game Studios are located in Darmstadt close to the Frankfurt-Rhine-Main area. We are working on the next installment of the internationally acclaimed Commandos franchise for PC and the latest generation of consoles. Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience within the games industry
• Understanding of Unreal Engine Development with C++ and blueprints

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Art and Design to bring ideas and new gameplay features to life
• Use Unreal Engine and will learn its feature set to find the best way to implement solutions
• Independently identify potential technical problems and suggest solutions
• Implement and optimize gameplay features of a tactical RTS
• Optimize code for performance, readability and will take part in code reviews
• Write automated tests
