As a Game Designer on the Warcraft Rumble team, you will implement and collaborate across fields to deliver features and updates through iteration, thoughtfulness, cooperation, and feedback. Using your proven experience, you will be a critical member of a creative group of designers, who are delivering exciting gameplay, content, and joyful chaos to our passionate Rumblers.

This role is anticipated to be a hybrid work position, with some work on-site and some work-from-home. The potential home studio for this position is Irvine, CA.

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

• Collaborate with other teams to craft epic gameplay experiences and systems spun from the rich roots of the Warcraft Universe.
• Document and implement designs that serve the broad player base, as well as being able to design for specific groups of players that crave more.
• Design and implement features, rewards, and systems content into Warcraft Rumble.
• See opportunities to improve implementation, process, and collaboration.
• Solicit and openly embrace feedback and direction.
• Promote, contribute to, and participate in our culture of inclusion and diversity.
• Always be thinking and planning for the next idea that players will love!

Minimum Requirements

• Background in creating, maintaining, and tuning systems, rewards, or content.
• Experience implementing features from concept to delivery.
• Appreciative of the incredible value of diversity, as we deliver for gamers worldwide.
• A broad knowledge of game genres and passion for deploying this knowledge in creating games.

Knowledge & Skills

• 2+ years of experience as a designer on a shipped product or equivalent, like expansions or a portfolio of work that can show wide design implementation skills and understanding.
• Strong Mathematical skills, and ability to deliver design philosophy through numbers.

Extra Points

• Experience working on mobile and social games.
• Familiarity with the Warcraft Universe.
• Programming or scripting experience.
