Game Designer (Internship) - Unannounced AAA title

Job Description
As an Intern Game Designer at Ubisoft Barcelona, you will join and work alongside the team responsible for several gameplay features on Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, and continue their mission to develop exciting, challenging, and forward-thinking features and next-gen visuals for an upcoming AAA title.
What you'll do
- Help on designing game features aligned with the creative and game.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate your assigned features.
- Help developing in-engine prototypes and evaluate their performance.
- Adapt to technical and production constraints, reworking your design when and as often as needed.
- Participate in finding solutions to fix buggy features.
- Create and maintain design documentation that will guide interdependent teams.
Qualifications
What you'll bring
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Critical thinking, curiosity, resourcefulness, and plenty of flexibility.
- Proactivity & good organizational skills.
- Good English communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for video games and knowledge of video game industry terms.
- Candidates must be in last year of university degree/master or recently graduated.
- Full time availability.
Plus:
- Relevant experience with scripting and programming languages.
- Any scripting experience with such as python, C#, or visual scripting.
