Game Analyst, Lily's Garden

Okay, let’s get a little bit more specific. Here’s what you’ll be doing on the day-to-day as a Game Analyst:

• Analyse the performance of the game to help the Product/LiveOps team understand player behaviour, what to improve in the game and what is the estimated impact of each improvement
• Create compelling dashboards to monitor key metrics of the game
• Work closely with the Product/LiveOps team to design, analyse and derive conclusions from A/B tests
• Help game designers and product specialists to balance game features
• Work with developers to define the necessary tracking data points in the game
• Present your findings to stakeholders (Product or LiveOps team members) and propose courses of action or improvements to the game
• Work closely with the rest of the game analysts on the team and brainstorm on how to solve problems

What we’re looking for:

• Strong background in mobile apps data analytics
• High proficiency in SQL
• High proficiency in presenting analyses and results to all audiences, from senior stakeholders to junior colleagues and non-technical teammates
• Experience applying rigorous analytic techniques in order to understand the behaviour of our players and the way they interact with the game features
• Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Looker, Sisense (formerly Periscope), Tableau)

You'll make us extra excited if you also have:

• Prior experience working within gaming/mobile apps
• Familiarity with Python/R
• Understanding of statistical concepts such as sampling, distributions, hypothesis testing and confidence intervals
• An understanding of A/B testing methodologies
