Financial Ops Specialist

Madbox is a mobile gaming company, creating and publishing its own games worldwide. Since 2018 Madbox has gathered more than 300 million players, still growing. We are looking for top talents with mad skills, a mad passion and a mad ambition to join us.

About the Role

- Starts with meeting your team, discovering who is who and engaging with everyone involved (or not) in your missions

- Continues with getting familiar with our stack, discovering our environment, tools and processes

- You will of course play our games and learn more about how we are making them the “Madbox way” !

- Everything will be made for you to get you up to speed, take ownership and be ready to tackle your missions

Take full responsibility on:

- Prepare closing file for our external accounting firm

- Become the point of contact of our accountants

- Make sure financial statements are accurate

- Monitor and analyze monthly variations vs. Budget

- Provide insights on operational performance and key finance metrics (Revenue, Game Operating Margin, EBITDA)

- Produce monthly reporting analysis to our Finance Director and XCOM (executive committee)

Support our Finance Director on:

Profile

- 3-5 years experience in audit, transaction services or start-up Finance department

- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills both in French and English (Spanish is a plus)

- Solid analytical & modeling skills and a rigorous mindset

- Team player with a positive and humble attitude

- Impeccable organization and priorities management

- Eager to be involved in various type of missions in collaboration with different teams;

- Are looking for a full remote position

- Need micro management to achieve your tasks

- Prefer limited exposure to external parties

- Are looking for a delimited and fixed perimeter

Hiring Process

• Meet Sophie, our Finance Director and your future manager to go further in the job description and your experiences
• A home assignment to check your technical skills
• A review of the test with Sophie
• Meet someone of the leadership team / founder (Thibault / Maxime) so that they can share the vision of the company
