What You'll Bring to Our Universe:

As a Financial Controller you'll play an essential role in supporting our financial planning initiatives. This is a broad role, and your responsibilities will include controlling and managing ongoing accounting tasks, maintaining documentation, and ensuring smooth communication and integration between different accounting systems. You will also collaborate closely with our international parent company/majority owner, MTG. For the day-to-day accounting, we also work with an external agency today.

We have full confidence in your expertise and capabilities, anticipating your ongoing growth and advancement of the financial aspect of our team. Looking ahead, we envision your role expanding to include budgeting and the creation of financial analyses aimed at improving our economic outlook. You will be Snowprint's dedicated finance expert, playing an essential role in driving our financial strategies forward, working closely alongside our COO.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a controller with accounting responsibilities
• Independently manage and improve accounting tasks, auditing processes and closing activities for Swedish and international reports, adhering to IFRS and K3 standards.
• Ensure accurate recording of ongoing accounting transactions and compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Develop new financial reports for reporting systems and other platforms.
• Perform additional tasks such as compiling absence reports, reviewing contracts, and assisting with employee relocation.

Your Skillset:

• Proven experience in accounting and closing activities and strong understanding of accounting principles and policies.
• Familiarity with IFRS standards or equivalent knowledge.
• Detail-oriented with a preference for process-driven work.
• Possess an analytical mindset adept at identifying potential improvements and recognizing connections.
• Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in responding to changes in dynamic environments.
• With one of our two studios located in Berlin, knowledge of the German language is a big plus, but not a must.
