Finance Lead - G&A Finance

About the Role

We are looking for a Finance Lead to join Twitch's FP&A team, supporting Technology Finance. The Technology Finance team partners with Engineering at Twitch to guide financial decisions and give insights. You will provide visibility into Twitch's financial performance and strategic programs in the business. You'll develop an understanding of our Technology portfolio to create recommendations to improve our trajectory. You will report to the Senior Director. Responsibilities may include the following:

You Will:

• Create financial models and analyses for Technology and Engineering
• Support long range planning and rolling forecast delivery
• Develop and monitor metric goals, highlighting trends and explaining causes of variances to forecast as part of month end close process
• Partner with business leaders to find cost efficiency opportunities
• Guide primary forecasting and reporting related to operating expenses and contract fees, and develop financial insights to ensure effective cost management for the CTO and Video team
• Design and own processes to track and evaluate country-level performances
• Design new processes, enhance existing reports, and build new models that make our financial data more relevant
• Partner and work collaboratively across multiple teams
• Identify ways to improve existing analyses and processes
• Ad hoc financial modeling and analysis

You Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar major
• 5+ years in finance, public accounting, banking, or consulting
• Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) modeling and data analytic tools (experience with SQL a plus )
• Experience working in high-tech startup, or similar environments
• Comfortable working with all levels of leadership
• Experience working through vast amounts of data, identify patterns and make relevant management decisions
• Oversee several projects without compromising work quality
• Highest standards of accuracy
