Your Mission

The Financial Analyst position on the Corporate FP&A team is a key role within the team that performs integrated companywide analysis and consolidation to support the Activision Blizzard executive leadership team, providing inputs to external financial reporting and investor relations processes, and leads companywide planning and forecasting processes. This role will work to analyze, report and support the performance of the Corporate functions and specifically demonstrate a strong aptitude for interpreting, analyzing, and communicating business issues, and identifying opportunities for improvement. Problem solving, prioritization, and attention to detail are critical.

The core functions of the role include supporting the Annual Operating Plan, Quarterly Forecast and Quarterly Close processes and ongoing partnership with various functional leaders to optimize efficiencies, while ensuring we are maintaining flexibility and supporting the strategic objectives of Activision Blizzard. Key outputs include preparation and analysis of c-suite and senior leader reporting packages, coordinating data-gathering across the organization, and assessing risk and opportunity ranges for initiatives and guidance.

This role will focus on supporting all corporate functions (HR, IT, Marketing, Workplace, Executive, PR)

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes , but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

• Prepare various analyses that drive business insight and frame financial risks and opportunities
• Help automate standard processes and reporting to reduce reporting burden and increase sophistication and capacity for analysis
• Perform variance analysis, and ensure an environment of no surprises for senior leadership

Player Profile

Minimum Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree
• Experience/education in analytics, strategy or finance in digital marketing, technology or entertainment industries.
• Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills
• Organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to thrive and multitask in a rapidly evolving environment
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ablility to work independently, with limited direction

Pluses:

• Experience working at a Fortune 500 company
• Financial systems (Hyperion/Essbase experience preferred)
• Experience in video game, software, technology or entertainment industries
