Position Purpose
As the Facilities Support Specialist you will be a valuable contributor to the day-to-day operations at our Eugene , OR studio. You will be a resource in our building to many, as this role is a critical support role to m ultiple departments .
We are looking for a self-starter, someone who takes pride in the care of the studio . This can include some light cleaning, building or moving furniture, shipping and receiving, being a support resource for many departments including marketing, IT , and administration. If you want a role that has varying responsibilities each day , you have a positive attitude, and you take initiative when you see things that need to be done, we would love to talk with you further about this position.
Essential Job Functions
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail and packages. This includes online purchasing of packages, with attention to detail and critical timelines
- Manage common work areas ensuring the area is clean and functional and supplie s are stocked throughout the day
- Maintain the general appearance of the building by performing light cleaning if needed , recycling and tracking environmental needs with your manager
- Monitor and stock staff supplies, and re-order inventory as needed
- Coordinate and fulfill marketing collateral material shipments as needed, with attention to accuracy, deadlines and presentation
- May be asked to perform other tasks as needed
Qualifications/Skill Sets
- Attention to detail with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift minimum of 5 0 pounds and be on your feet a good portion of the day
- Ability to accurately complete tasks, consistently follow protocols, and build trust of others
- Proficient in MS Office
- Positive attitude and presentation
- A hands-on, self -starter who works well with a diverse group of individuals
- Team player
- Tak e pride in the environment and your job
- Excellent communication skills: able to relay information clearly, receive information openly, and follow up in a timely manner
- A continuous flexibility to support an array of projects and departments- variety will occur and spontaneity will be necessary
Scope of Position
Job Type: This position is full- time (30-40 hours/week), Monday-Friday. Occasionally , extended hours may be required
Education: High school or equivalent
License/Certification: Driver's License
