THE ROLE
Seeking an experienced, energetic, and organized Facilities Specialist with a minimum of three years of facilities work experience to join The VOID. The Facilities Specialist will assist in a wide variety of related facilities duties.
- Oversee work facility to ensure proper functioning of Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, and other systems.
- Coordinate and manage vendors for Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, as needed
- Coordinate with the Administrative and IT teams as needed.
- Responsible for arranging after-hours maintenance, as needed.
- Assemble, disassemble, and transport furniture as needed.
- Hang white boards, TVs, and other fixtures on walls.
- Coordinates with HR and Administration to ensure new employees have work stations.
- Manage equipment maintenance and supplies.
- Ensures the availability/maintenance of AEDs (Automated External Defibrillator), fire extinguishers, and first aid supplies.
- Ensures adherence to all corporate, contractual, and safety policies.
- Comply with ADA, OSHA, and other local/state/federal facility laws and regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- 3+ years of facilities, construction, or other similar experience
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Organized with an attention to detail
- Proficient with computers, including the use of email, Word, Internet, and Excel
- An understanding of work place safety
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely
- Requires professional well-groomed appearance, valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted, bend, kneel, twist, and climb ladders safely.
