Facilities Assistant - (Temporary)

Rooster Teeth is looking for a Facilities Assistant! If you don’t mind getting dirty and like to work with your hands, this is for you! This position reports directly to the Facility Manager.

The Facilities Assistant will assist the facilities team (mainly Facilities Manager and Coordinator) with some of the more day-to-day or ‘in the weeds’ tickets that come through. The Assistant will be tied into our ZenDesk platform for work order assignment and be more ‘Customer’-facing to ask employees for more information on certain tickets (“Where would you like this whiteboard?”). Vendor management will also be a must in order to handle any smaller facilities vendors.

Responsibilties:

• Support the Facilities department in day-to-day operations
• Respond to and fulfill requests from both Facilities and other company departments
• Support the company needs in a thoughtful and efficient way
• Transfer equipment and materials to and from our offsite location
• Travel between the two company sites
• Communicate all information clearly and effectively
• Thinking outside the box to further increase presentation and cleanliness of the facility
• Keeping safety and security of People and assets (in that order) at the highest priority.
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

• Experience with power tools and ladders, minor paint and drywall work, general low-key handyperson stuff
• Experience with a production environment preferred
• Strong communication and people skills (think customer service)
• Strong organizational skills
• Creative Problem-Solving Skills
• Not afraid to get dirty
• Must be able to pick up 50-lbs
• Must be some level of tech-savvy (familiarity with apps and using personal cell phone for ticket management)
• Must have personal vehicle and valid Driver’s License
• Must be comfortable with using personal vehicle for transporting themselves and some materials between our two Austin locations. We have a company pickup and box for larger items.
