FP&A Analyst - 12 Month FTC (Hybrid)

We are looking for an up-and-coming FP&A Analyst to support the next exciting stage of our reporting journey. Reporting into the FP&A Manager but working closely with the whole finance team, this role will deliver on current reporting needs and look to improve processes and drive efficiencies across the business.
The primary focus of this role is to optimise and streamline our planning processes, from performing financial deep dives to presenting financial performance to senior management. Additionally, the role will encompass a wider scope of responsibilities aimed at developing and implementing a central planning solution (Planful).
This role provides exposure to the whole business and visibility across finance areas. Working closely with the FP&A Manager, the role will be exposed to the whole planning cycle as well as top to bottom ownership of reporting and analysis of key business channels.
You will be joining a diverse team of talented individuals, working together to support the nDreams Group and our multiple games studios within.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with department and studio managers to identify and report on KPIs and establish timelines and methodologies across budgets, forecasts and monthly reporting.
- Encourage end users to get the most out of their reports as well as ensuring data and documentation is accurate and continuously updated and distributed.
- Develop and maintain tailored reporting packs for finance stakeholders, from month end reporting, and project tracking to board slides.
- Compile, verify, and ensure accuracy in day-to-day reporting needs.
- Assist in intercompany and group reporting needs.
- Play a key role in the rollout of planning solution (Planful). Providing professional judgement across implementation, driving efficiencies and standardising/automating wherever possible.
- Solicit feedback from other team members, departments and management on the requirements of the solution including design deliverables, functionality and business logic.
- Perform detailed technical analysis to determine both current and future financial performance, with emphasis on variance analysis.
- Capture financial risks and opportunities while communicating them through scenario planning and modelling.
- Get involved in financial deep dives or ad hoc analysis as required.
Requirements
Essential Capabilities
- Confidence in managing large volumes of data and translating for non-finance stakeholders.
- Advanced Excel skills, ideally with exposure to reporting platforms/dashboard tools.
- An analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to be highly structured, organised and proactive.
- A solid commercial understanding and the ability to work with a ‘project’ mindset.
- Ability to interact effectively with people at all levels within the organisation.
- Contribute positively to the organisation and act as an ambassador for the finance team.

- Planful experience is a nice to have.

This hybrid, full-time role is based at our Farnborough HQ, working from the office 3 times per week.
The salary range for this role is £40,000 - £50,000.
This role is offered initially on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
