Social Media Specialist

What You'll Do

As the Social Media Specialist, you have a unique opportunity to build upon an existing community through all relevant social channels as the voice of Level Ex. In your role, you will engage daily with a diverse network of industry executives and medical professionals across varying specialties with the goal of driving valuable, thought-provoking discussions to advance the practice of medicine through play.

Reporting to the Senior Community Engagement Manager, you will:

• Work with the Senior Manager to build community engagement and communication strategies (e.g. trade shows, events, newsletters, push, social, virtual focus groups, and board meetings, etc.) for medical professionals and industry leaders
• For Social Media:
  • Plan and implement social media strategy (on various platforms) to build and increase engagement with our audiences
  • Create, curate, and manage social media content, including extensive copy writing and visual ideation
  • Manage brand and related channels on a day-to-day basis to engage and drive visibility with our community
  • Coordinate with Sales, Production, and Art teams to extract and conceptual shareable content
  • Strategize with the creative team and digital teams on trends, best practices, and ways to constantly improve content quality
• For Trade Shows:
  • Support event and experience strategy, planning and execution: partner, industry, and virtual
  • Project management, scheduling and execution including event logistics (e.g. booth space, travel, staffing, sponsorship opportunities)
• Embody the voice of the brand to create content that is authentic and powerful for all channels
• Help measure and optimize program performance to track and report on ROI

What You'll Bring

• 3+ years of experience managing social media platforms and developing content
• Knowledge of best practices and emerging trends for social media platforms including LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.
• Excellent writing and editing experience; you will need to write and speak in the Level Ex "voice," which is highly influenced by the fact that we're a games studio (read: engaging, funny, irreverent, surprising) with physicians as our users (read: must show appropriate respect for the life and death aspect of the medical issues our products help teach doctors about)
• Project management experience implementing web and experiential design best practices
