Experienced QA tester

We are a critically acclaimed Swedish game development studio with about 180 experienced and skilled employees. We are most well-known for developing the Warhammer: Vermintide franchise, but have also helped develop a number of AAA titles and we launched the highly anticipated game Warhammer 40,000: Darktide.

We have grown quite a bit over the last few years and are almost two-hundred “Sharks” now, but we still embrace the same values that we started with. The role

We are looking to hire an experienced QA Tester to join our QA team in Stockholm. As a QA Tester at Fatshark, you will be responsible for testing and analyzing Fatshark games on PC, Xbox and Playstation as a part of our internal QA team, while working closely with the other developers.

What you'll do

• Report and track bugs and issues in Atlassian Jira
• Perform qualitative testing on multiple platforms (PC and Xbox)
• Create test plans and run test executions to verify functionality, performance, memory usage, localization and compliance
• Be a driving force in identifying quality flaws in our products and tools
• Provide valuable feedback on our games and be a part of discussions relating to all aspects of game quality

Required qualifications

• At least 2 years of working experience with Quality Assurance
• Experience using common bug tracking systems like Jira
• Experience in writing test cases
• Good organizational skills and a sharp attention to details
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
• Passionate about video games
• Strong communication skills
• Have a knack for identifying and documenting bugs and issues while also being able to understand the cause and finding reproduction steps

Bonus qualifications

• Experience with QA, compliance and certification for Xbox or Playstation
• Basic programming knowledge in languages like Lua, C#, C++
• Education related to games and/or testing
• ISTQB Certification
• Experience with our games, especially Vermintide 2 and Darktide
• Experience with version control systems like p4v, SVN, GitHub, etc
• Experience with build management tools like TeamCity, Jenkins, etc
