We are a remote-first games company represented by a diverse team, which empowers us to make the kinds of games in which all players can see themselves. Working closely with our colleagues at Bad Robot Productions, our projects unite our extensive network of games, TV, and film industry talent to create original IPs, expansive worlds and tell new stories across all media platforms which are as fun to watch as they are to play.
Bad Robot Games is looking for an Executive Producer who is an industry leader in bringing high quality PC/Console game franchises to market. This is an opportunity to join in the early growth stages of our exceedingly collaborative and experienced team, and to have an incredible impact on the strategy of our company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish and own the budget, production quality, and business plan for our internal and external PC/Console franchises within Bad Robot Games
- Own product strategy between our cross-medium, publishing, and development team
- Evaluate priorities, scope, staffing and resources; and thoughtfully adjust business strategies to react to changing requirements
- Establish multiple roadmaps for product and franchise that takes into account game launches as well as running successful live services
- Champion the professional development of your team and core leads, assuring that the right headcount is available at each stage of the development cycle for all projects
- Executive relationship management with IP holders, publishing, and all stakeholders internally and externally
- Mitigate risks and take ownership of any unforeseen events as they arise
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years experience working as a Lead or Sr. Producer leading game development teams from inception to launch of a successful games franchise. Bonus points if this is in a live service or multi-player game environment
- Strong communication and writing skills, with experience preparing and presenting decks to partners
- Experience obtaining insights and developing strategies through metrics-driven analysis and design experimentation
- Experience using KPIs to set product success goals, monitoring of the product and informing necessary changes to the game & experience with, and ability to use, in-game trends (using data insights) to improve top line KPIs
- Strong sense of product management tool sets that can facilitate communication across many departments or teams along with solid organizational skills and highly efficient time management. Bonus if you are comfortable with Jira, Notion, Miro, Slack, and Discord
- Product strategy mindset
- Experience developing growth strategies for games worldwide and across platforms
- Experience owning and/or directing go to market strategies, in alignment with publishing and development teams
- Experience driving products remotely
- All of our roles require up to 10% air travel. Examples include Studio/Team Offsites, Team/Studio Events, etc.
BONUSES
- Experience working on live service games
Annual Salary Range: $200,000 - $300,000
Our ranges are based on California market rate regardless of work location in the US.
