Executive Creative Director

Role Overview

Roblox is seeking an Executive Creative Directorto join the Marketing team to bring to life Roblox creative vision across all channels and all audiences, from employees, to users, to developers. The ECD will play an integral role in evolving and elevating our brand identity, look and feel, and creative output across our owned, earned, and paid channels.

An experienced people leader, this role will be responsible for managing and developing the creative team across design, video, and copy functions. They will work with marketing, comms, and product partners to identify the creative needs of the organization, and nurture and build a strong team of full-time and contract resources to deliver high-quality creative outputs for employer brand, growth, brand, product marketing, events, and general marketing needs.

Specific responsibilities to include:

• Elevating the Roblox brand identity [e.g., look, feel, and voice] and developing and maintaining brand standards and consistency
• Work closely with the creative team to evolve, document and enforce brand standards across all platforms and mediums for a consistent brand experience
• Creating thoughtful, innovative marketing executions across all channels in line with brand strategy and campaign needs
• Work with Creative Ops to build process and team of full time and contract resources to support creative needs of the organization
• Direct day to day creative operations to ensure creative needs are appropriately resourced and delivered with high quality, on time executions
• Participate in Creative briefings, and partner closely counterparts in marketing to understand campaign needs in order to support overall marketing strategy and activation
• Understand insights and research and apply them to creative thinking, campaign
• Be able to operate at both the strategic level and operational level, and willing to roll up sleeves as needed

What you need to be successful

Experience working as the senior creative leader in a high growth company. An understanding of our platform and a desire to create and amplify compelling technical stories about our innovation, technology, and technical culture will be important. We are also looking for someone who is a strategic thinker, a creative storyteller and content builder, and brings strong initiative to get things done. Collaboration will be critical as this role will be partnering with our recruiting, marketing, and communications teams in this effort.
