Executive Assistant, Famico Studios, Los Angeles
Famico Studios is looking for someone to join our global team of gamers and creators building a new video game company. Based in Los Angeles, the Executive Assistant role will directly support our CEO in logistical and administrative matters such as schedule management, travel arrangements, expense reports, office management, and hosting visiting partners. This role will also support the broader studio leadership team by coordinating meetings and facilitating communications. The ideal candidate for this role will be adept at working with a wide variety of people, including creative talent and C-Suite executives; and be highly organized, with the ability to juggle multiple projects, a full inbox, and a scrappy (and exciting) startup environment. Just as importantly, we’re looking for someone who shares our enthusiasm for games and our passion for the projects we’re working on.
We support a global and distributed team, but the ideal candidate will be able to work in-person from a Los Angeles office approximately three days per week.
Responsibilities
- Full responsibility for managing the CEO’s calendar, as well as coordinating meetings involving multiple members of the Famico team
- Create and distribute agendas for all internal meetings, and track any follow-up items
- Coordinate both domestic and international travel, including booking flights and hotels, verifying visa requirements, and tracking COVID-19 guidelines
- File receipts and submit expense reports for purchases and reimbursements
- Revise, re-format, and contribute to presentations and other documentation
- Keep our teams up-to-date on trends in the gaming and entertainment industries
- Manage our office presence in Los Angeles and welcome visiting partners
- Assume responsibility for misc. administrative and logistical tasks as the need arises
Requirements & Skills
- At least two years of Executive Assistant experience in the games, technology, and/or media industries
- Strong organizational and scheduling skills
- Excellent people skills and cultural sensitivity to work with an international team
- Proactive planning and problem-solving
- Adaptability to handle multiple projects at once and adjust to rapidly-changing priorities in a fast-paced organization
- Strong sense of discretion and ability to handle confidential information
- Proficiency with relevant software, especially Microsoft Outlook, is a plus
- Enthusiasm for all things games!
