The Executive Art Director, reporting into the VP of FIFA HD will have overall accountability for developing the visual (Art) roadmap across the premium FIFA / FC product. You will define the visual quality standards for FC Premium. Lead contemporary thinking to inspire, excite and contribute to the Franchise, and lead the central art community and manage third party relationships.
Your Responsibilities
- You will develop a visual roadmap to be delivered in line with the vision and priorities.
- Using consumer data and insights you will align your team to focus on what matters most, driving a visual roadmap that compliments the game design and IP.
- You will understand business priorities and lobby for resources needed for strategic innovation. As part of the senior leadership team you will advocate for improvements and enhancements on future product cycles.
- You will understand strategic brand goals and consult with our brand partners on priorities.
- You will seek out latest trends, best practices and competitor analysis and incorporate into thinking and development of art research strategies.
- You will lead a team of around 100 artists inspiring and developing them to achieve their creative potential.
- You will demonstrate a commitment to equity and inclusion through words and actions, building an inclusive culture where everyone contributes, feels welcomed and valued.
About You
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within visual art game development within large complex environments.
- 8+ years of leading teams and managing stakeholders and teams globally to deliver.
- Your empowering leadership enables you to challenge and influence.
- You are comfortable presenting visual strategies to a range of stakeholders including executive management.
- You communicate effectively uniting team members from multiple teams, geographies and disciplines behind a common strategy.
- You will have a passion for football and insight into global football culture / community.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range for your specific location.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
BASE SALARY RANGES
• California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):
º $221,900 - $327,350
• New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo):
º $198,450 - $327,350
• Jersey City, NJ :
º $198,450 - $327,350
• Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs):
º $198,450 - $295,650
• Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):
º $198,450 - $295,650
Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby (following 1 year of service), medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
