Esports Video Lead, Europe & MENA

As Esports Video Lead, Europe & MENA (or Supervisor, Video Production as it's known internally), you will integrate and lead our video production activities ensuring excitement and trust among the esports audience. You will be part of the Europe Esports Media House and you will report to the Content Executive Producer, Europe & MENA.

You will be based in Berlin, Germany and join a dedicated team of Rioters who are working on the Europe and MENA esports Content Team. You will manage a team of video experts that creates video content for all our esports programs across all Riot Games titles: League of Legends, VALORANT, and Wild Rift (and more in the future!).

Responsibilities:

• You will grow and run a capable video production team that provides resonant and industry-leading video content to European & MENA players, using your experience to inspire others and direct personal and craft growth
• You will manage resources: staff, equipment, storage, etc. You will work on budget forecast and execution during the year
• You will vet agencies and freelancers to support your team, and you will guarantee proper sourcing and scaling of our video production network by finding new connections, agencies, and leads
• You will assure the highest quality in our productions by setting up guidelines, best practices and style guides for your team
• You manage the efficiency of your team by optimizing operations around efficiency and legal compliance perspectives

Required Qualifications:

• You've produced video content and large-scale video production projects that champion consumer experience challenging marketing conventions
• You have at least 3 years of experience in people management with previous (+3) years of experience producing videos, primarily about esports
• You understand your impact on the player experience and you have a knowledge about video games. You will use that to improve the experience of all our games
• You have a broad understanding of the European esports and media landscape. Your strategic planning make you a leader who can balance and prioritize short-term solutions without losing sight of the long-term vision
• You're able to explore metrics and analyze fans engagement with our content to construct business cases that support projects, help establish best practices, position products and develop strategies for new projects
