Epic Games is looking for a Program Officer on the Epic MegaGrants team to help shape, implement, and operate the Epic MegaGrants program. The Program Officer will be primarily responsible for organizing and efficiently driving the program to maximally benefit grant recipients, the Unreal Engine ecosystem, and the 3D graphics community. In addition, the Program Officer will drive a program structure that facilitates and encourages collaboration, visibility, and input from multiple teams, spanning engine, business development, finance, and marketing, as well as innovative creators and developers, and Epic’s partners. Responsibilities:
- Continually iterating on the structure and operations of the MegaGrants program to ensure efficiency and maximize benefit to grant awardees, the UE4 ecosystem, and the 3D graphics community
- Contributing to the ongoing definition and development of the program strategy
- Managing, monitoring, and coordinating the grant portfolio
- Identifying key KPIs to measure success of the MegaGrants program and develop systems to track and monitor KPIs
- Ensuring the MegaGrants program selection process is balanced across verticals and adheres to strategic goals
- Developing and continually improving vertical-specific documentation and procedures for grant reviewers
- Coordinating with key internal stakeholders to ensure internal alignment and visibility on the MegaGrants program
Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience in grant-making
- Passion for the Unreal Engine ecosystem, 3D graphics, open source initiatives, and technology generally
- Experience leading, managing and implementing strategic initiatives
- Strong research, analytical, writing, and oral presentation skills
- Critical thinking with the ability to manage through ambiguity
- Ability to build relationships with cross-functional work teams to achieve business objectives and overcome both internal and external barriers
- Detail-oriented and work well in a high-paced environment
- Good team player who embraces challenge and has a willingness to “roll up their sleeves”.
