Your mission is to lead and grow our Applied Science function, within the Defence Unit of Improbable

You'd be leading a team of applied scientists with diverse backgrounds across data science, machine learning, agent-based modelling, engineering and research. They are responsible for the development of scientific models that describe and animate the synthetic environments for customer projects. They specialise in rapid prototyping of scientific models of socio-technical systems, as well as adapting and combining existing models from third party specialists and the scientific community when those are available.

In this role you would be responsible for managing, supporting and growing the team. You will report to the Senior Engineering Manager for Applied Science and Model Engineering.
