What does the Creative Director of Frostbite do?

As the Creative Director of Frostbite, you'll report to Frostbite's Director of User Experience. You'll establish the creative and technical vision of our example content, highlight reels, and demos. You'll manage a global team of content creators and technical artists in creating compelling content that showcases Frostbite's power and workflows. You'll be at the center of making Frostbite more creator-centric and helping artists bring their ideas to life.

Key responsibilities

• Establish the vision for Frostbite example content, highlight reels and demos
• Craft and pitch compelling creative ideas and experiences for example content to senior leaders
• Create example content, highlight reels and demos by collaborating with content creators, artists, and engineers
• Lead and mentor a global team of content creators and technical artists
• Partner with EA studios to identify example content needs and collaboration opportunities
• Champion Frostbite workflows, tools and capabilities to EA Studios and the content creator community
• Champion example content as a way to improve workflows, promote creativity and enhance learning
• Establish the guidelines and processes for content sharing within Frostbite and with EA Studios

Required experience

• At least five years of experience working in the field of game design, and taking games from concept to completion, and driving the creative direction
• Experience leading the creative direction of small to medium-sized game development teams including content creators and artists (such as in an indie or DLC team setting)
• In-depth experience working with game engines, related digital content creation tools
• A passion for games and pushing the boundaries of game engine technology
