Embedded QA

Do you want to be part of a growing games studio who’s apps reach kids all over the world?

At Toca Boca, you’ll have the responsibility and ability to make decisions within your team on your project and drive the QA process forward. You will be embedded in a small game team creating content for Toca Life World. You will take responsibility for the QA plans, as well as help your colleagues in other teams around launches and peaks.

Toca Life World releases monthly content, so there’s never a dull moment. As part of the role you will coordinate release testing and inform the team about the risks/impacts, based on test coverage achieved. You’ll join a company that has fun together and hasn’t lost the ability to play together.

What you’ll be doing
You’ll be part of a small team looking to gain experience and knowledge to drive better processes and continually improve the development team, helping the developers with bugs and testing their own work.

You’ll be a key stakeholder in the game team which means you will attend daily scrums, demos, planning, and retrospectives. Communication is key.

You’ll perform manual and technical testing across the three different mobile platforms, both by exploratory testing and by feature testing as well as improving and operating the QA process for including bug prevention and encouraging quality responsibility within the team.

Is this you?
You have experience working as a QA with either mobile apps and/or games. You are used to working closely with the development team.

You are an excellent communicator, especially when working with Customer Service, Producers and Development Teams.

This position is full time and based in our Stockholm office. We apply 6 months of probationary employment. As we’re an international company, with over 10 nationalities and millions of users all over the world, you have to be fluent in English. Your application should therefore be in English.
