Electronics TechnicianSummary
As an Electronics Repair Technician you will be responsible for repairing a wide range of Aristocrat and Opposition electrical parts to support field service requirements. This role requires the ability to identify, troubleshoot and analyze electrical faults in a diverse and wide range of parts, utilizing blue prints, technical drawings and wiring diagrams to find the root cause and conduct all required repairs to ensure this part is operational for customer use.What you'll do
- Thorough understanding of the technical aspects of electronic repairs, computers, laptops, LCDs, cash handling equipment, power supplies and ticket printers
- Must be experienced in component level electronic repairs and have the ability to read and understand blueprints, technical drawings and wiring diagrams
- Advanced BGA and surface mount repair skills.
- Ability to diagnose faults using an array of test equipment including multimeters and oscilloscopes.
- Computer literacy inclusive of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Inventory Management systems, and Electronic Repair Reporting programs
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to multitask, prioritize and be extremely organized
- Ability to lift, maneuver, push and pull components in a safe manner and as required with a maximum lifting weight of 15kg
- Ability to work independently and utilize excellent problem-solving skills to repair electronic parts

- Understand and adhere with company compliance and legal requirements for gaming operations
- Actively participate in training and practice appropriate manual handling techniques in accordance with job requirements
What we're looking for
- Certificate IV or equivalent in electronic repair or similar; associate degree in electronic engineering technology preferred
- 5+ years of experience working as an electronic technician
- Extensive knowledge of electronic systems, wiring, and all necessary equipment
- Able to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficient with manual and power tools
- Familiar with Electronic code requirements and company safety regulations
