We are seeking an Electrical Engineer for a full-time role based out of our Global Headquarters in North Ryde, Sydney supporting design and manufacture of the PCBs, components and products. The successful candidate will collaborate with colleagues in engineering, manufacturing and product to design, test, and deliver to manufacturing the innovative, high-quality electronic gaming components and machines that advance the technology of some of your very favorite digital games found in casinos throughout the worldWhat You'll Do
- Lead, coordinate, and participate in the design, test, documentation and delivery of high-quality electronic components, hardware, firmware and products that advance the stability, processing power, fidelity, and compliance of Aristocrat products
- Schematic and / or PCB Layout Design Entry using an industry standard CAD or Engineering Tool and according to Aristocrat Standards
- Diagnosis and Problem Solving throughout development and field support
- Liaise directly with 3rd party sub-component designers to ensure requirements and specifications are met
What We're Looking For
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 4+ years of experience in electronics engineering and complex systems product design
- Expertise in electronic design including schematic and / or PCB layout in CAD
- Demonstrable knowledge of common electronic interfaces such as USB, SATA, PCIe, Ethernet etc.
- High proficiency in coordinating the activities and deliverables of design partners
- Knowledge and experience with common uController and/or FPGA architectures
- Strong hands on capability using electronic test equipment such as protocol analysers, MSO’s etc.
- Capable of designing to global gaming EMC and Safety standards & regulations
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Altium is strongly preferred
- Experience in gaming, content distribution, Media & Entertainment, or retail industry is preferred
- Prior experience in product environments that are highly regulated is preferred
