EU Events Manager

As the EU Events Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in crafting and delivering unparalleled experiences that leave a lasting impact on Team Liquid’s global fanbase. You'll help spearhead the development of innovative event concepts and uncover immersive opportunities to redefine the gaming landscape. Collaborating closely with the Sr. Director of Events, you'll be instrumental in identifying new avenues for engagement, shaping innovative event concepts, and coordinating seamlessly with your team to execute immersive live and digital experiences that resonate with Team Liquid's passionate fan base worldwide.
What you will be doing:
- Plan and execute both in-person and digital events that go above and beyond the expectations of our global fans and partners
- Work closely with the Sr. Director of Events to execute against the internal events strategy
- Maintain and report on separate event budgets, goals, and results
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure events align with needs and achieve goals
- Contract and oversee vendors, venues, and contractors to help fulfill event needs as needed
- Oversee onsite staff at events to ensure proper representation of the Team Liquid brand and Partners to our community at the highest level
What you’ll need:
- 2-4+ years of experience in event management
- Relevant experience planning and executing large-scale, in-person, and digital events
- Strong problem-solving and relationship-building skills
- Demonstrated initiative/self-motivation, with the ability to quickly and easily adapt to changing organizational needs
- Willing to work a flexible schedule and travel domestically and internationally to manage events
- An interest in gaining a deeper familiarity of the gaming and esports space
- Previous experience utilizing project management software
- Proficient in Google and Microsoft Office Suites
- Fluent in English
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
You’ll Earn Bonus Points If You Have:
- A proven track record of event management experience within gaming or esports industries.
Additional Requirements:
The nature of our events may require flexibility in working hours. The successful candidate should be prepared to work unsocial hours, including evenings and weekends, to ensure the success of our events.
