Gameloft Montreal is seeking a new Senior Community Developer to join the team for Disney Dreamlight Valley, a cross-platform project (PC and console) hybrid between a life simulator and an adventure game rich in quests, exploration and exciting activities featuring Disney and Pixar friends, both old and new.

As the Senior Disney Dreamlight Valley Community Developer, you will be part of a large game development team, including game producers, programmers and creative teams, as well as a team of other Game Community Managers, Developers and Moderators in studios across the globe.
You will be the main link between Gameloft and our player community and will act as the "face" of Gameloft, ensuring that the social media and community strategies are thought out and implemented.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Defining Social and Community Actions
- Acting as the social-media and community-management expert within a team of game developers
- Formulating the social media and community strategy and implementing it
- Running innovative social campaigns that capture the interest of your community and constantly drive both engagement rates and community size
- Preparing creative briefs and managing all published content (images, video and text)
- Being the voice and face of the brand in livestreams
- Developing and expanding community outreach efforts: ambassador programs, Discord groups, etc.
Ensuring Consumer Satisfaction
- Ensuring the active flow of communication between the development team and the community
- Monitoring, listening to and responding to the community in a “social” way
- Identifying the most common issues based on community feedback, preparing regular internal reports (app store reviews, escalations of high priority or frequent issues from Customer Care) and escalating issues quickly and efficiently to all relevant internal parties when necessary
- Advocating for our players during planning meetings and in internal processes
Monitoring & Reporting
- Monitoring discussions and trends within fan bases on all channels, including social media channels and app store pages
- Being on the lookout for the latest trends in social media tools, applications and channels, and advising the development team of potential opportunities
- Conducting market research on topical trends affecting the wider gaming community
- Regularly analyzing your social campaigns and translating the qualitative data results into actionable recommendations for future campaigns
- Analyzing and reporting social media performance to management on a monthly basis and sharing performance reports with game team management and HQ
Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience managing social media platforms or communities for brands
- Experience in developing and nurturing an active community of players for a live game
- Demonstrated creativity and innovation in every campaign you’ve run
- Some knowledge of graphic tools such as Photoshop, or of video-editing software
- Team player that can easily collaborate with others
- A desire to actively seek solutions to problems and the confidence to take the lead when necessary
- Strong intuition and ability to identify potential negative community reactions or crises in advance and prepare mitigation plans
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A passion for video games!
