Within is looking for a Director of User Acquisition to execute growth marketing strategies for a new VR fitness product. We are looking for someone who is passionate about motivating new users to experience VR fitness. The right person is strategic, goal-oriented and analytical. This role reports into the CMO and works closely with cross-functional teams to reach company goals while communicating business performance and monetization results to company leaders.
The impact you'll make:
This position will lead the development, planning and execution of user acquisition marketing strategies for Within's products and leverages budgets to drive growth. You will own acquisition performance while leading strategic, high-volume experimentation on all potential user acquisition channels.
What you'll do:
- Develop user acquisition campaigns
- Establish new user acquisition channels for Within's products
- Define goals and oversee analytics management
- Own cross-functional communication & strategy setting on user acquisition plans
- Lead campaign planning, optimization, analysis and execution
- Ideate and establish new user acquisition funnels for Within's products
- Develop business and technical acquisition strategy for Within users
- Lead and oversee the development of performance marketing plans for upcoming and existing products
- Build advertising plans, performance metrics, and budgets that align with business goals
- Monitor, optimize and report performance of campaigns on an ongoing basis
- Identify new opportunities to drive campaign performance
- Develop test plans, measure performance, and make recommendations based on testing
- Forecast budgets and continuously report updated, real-time, results
- Analyze and forecast leading KPIs to determine profitability
- Own cross-functional and executive communication strategy
What you'll need to be successful:
- 7-10 years of acquisition marketing experience
- Expertise of user acquisition and performance marketing strategies
- BA/BS degree
- Strong analytical skills and experience working in metrics based companies
- Intuitive grasp of data
- Proven success growing a world-class user acquisition team
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills - both written and verbal
- Experience working in fast-paced environments
- A balance of data-driven, analytical skills with demonstrated creative campaign wins
- Authentic interest in Virtual Reality
- Proven experience effectively influencing others without directly managing them
