Director of Product

About the role:

We are looking for a Director of Product to help drive growth by building great products that serve our advertisers and publishers. You’ll guide Chartboost into its next phase and steer continued innovation and business growth on both our demand and supply businesses. Working closely with the leadership team, you will be addressing strategic questions and creating vision for the company. You will need to effectively manage a Product Management team, while promoting accountability and ownership. Partnering with Engineering teams in San Francisco and Barcelona, you will continue to strengthen relationships between Product and Engineering.

The Director of Product will be reporting to one of Chartboost’s Co-CEOs and is based at Headquarters in San Francisco.

What you’ll do:

• Lead and mentor a team of high performing Product Managers. Set up goals and drive the team’s professional growth
• Drive the product vision of the company and participate in strategic decisions with the leadership team
• Develop product roadmaps with the Product Managers - align resources to execute the plans and influence stakeholders to achieve growth and product adoption
• Be the voice of our product strategy, internally and externally

Who you are:

• 8+ years of experience in product management
• You have an extensive ad tech background, including programmatic, monetization and advertising sides, video and other advertising formats
• You’ve proven that you can learn what you don’t know and help design a better future
• You are proactive and have great communication skills. You know how to challenge and debate appropriately, while maintaining a low-ego and team-first mentality
• You are capable of balancing long-term, strategic roadmapping and thought leadership with pragmatic, transparent, tactically-focused, shorter-term PRDs
• You’ve led teams and are well-versed in mentoring and growing a team
• You’ve been a contributor at the executive team level with the ability to build trust at every level and rally towards common goals
• You are driven by a strong sense of pride and accountability over products and features that your team ships. You continue to measure and analyze to ensure products are effective and being leveraged properly

Bonus points:

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science
• Experience working with international teams and across different time zones
• Experience in app development and SDK
