What You Will Do:

As the Director of Growth PM, you will be at the forefront of driving our mobile gaming success. Your role combines growth marketing expertise with a strategic approach to lead the Product Management team. You’ll be pivotal in ensuring effective user acquisition campaigns, optimizing live operations, and enhancing player community support. Key to your role will be analytics-driven decision-making, P&L management, and fostering cross-functional collaboration to influence product direction and drive substantial growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership and Consultation: Lead the Product Management team with a focus on strategic consultation, guiding them in developing proposals for product enhancement and growth. Utilize player behavior, market, and competitive data to drive product growth and differentiation. This includes consulting with development partners on in-game features and monetization to boost player engagement and lifetime value.
  • Effective Communication, Influencing, and Performance Reporting: Clearly communicate strategies and insights across departments, ensuring alignment and effective execution of growth initiatives. Monitor key performance indicators and deliver insightful reports to senior management, highlighting relevant risks and growth opportunities.
  • User Acquisition Strategy and Advice: Collaborate with the User Acquisition team, providing guidance to optimize campaigns and creatives and drive high-quality user acquisition.
  • Player-Centric Approach: Partner with Community Management, Consumer Insights, and Customer Service to align player feedback with the product roadmap, ensuring player needs are at the forefront of growth strategies.
  • P&L and Budget Oversight: Oversee the Profit and Loss statement, managing budgets for marketing and third-party development resources. Ensure optimal allocation of funds to maximize return on investment and maintain game quality and marketing efficiency.

Who We Think Will Be A Great Fit:

  • Extensive Industry Experience: 7+ years of proven success in driving growth initiatives in the core mobile gaming sector.
  • Comprehensive Growth Marketing Knowledge: Deep understanding of integrated growth marketing strategies, including paid, organic, and ASO.
  • Strategic and Analytical Mindset: Proven ability to develop holistic strategies, backed by strong analytical skills and consumer insights.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Demonstrated experience in leading and developing high-performing teams, with a focus on mentorship, goal-setting, and performance management.
  • Financial Acumen: Solid experience in budget management and financial oversight, with the ability to make data-driven resource allocation and investment decisions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven track record of effective cross-functional collaboration and communication, ensuring alignment of goals across various departments. Experience managing large, experienced external development partners is a bonus.
  • Academic Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree is essential; a Master’s degree or MBA is desirable.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin
