As a Director of Product for Identity and Accounts, you will help transform Roblox into a global, social, and safe metaverse for all ages. You will work closely with executive leadership, product teams, policy teams, operations teams, and growth teams to define and execute a strategy to achieve that vision. You will report to the VP of Growth.
You are and have:
- Product leader with 10+ years in product management
- Domain experience managing teams focused on User Generated Content (UGC) and social
- Passionate about defining what the metaverse means for people of all ages and the strategy to grow the metaverse to billions of people
- World-class ability to deterministically find and prioritize the most impactful challenges
- Ability to analyze complex (multi-dimensional) solution trade-offs and present alternatives that would satisfy solution requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to convey ideas through detailed specifications and/or wireframes
- Have worked in a fast paced environment, with competing resources and priorities, through the product life cycle from planning, development through to launch
- Strategic orientation coupled with an entrepreneurial attitude and an ability to contribute to product design, execution, and all things go-to-market
- A self starter: High degree of self direction and independent drive
- Managed a team of Product Managers
You will:
- Build overall identity and accounts strategy, including what the future of identity will look like in the metaverse
- Own complicated, industry-leading challenges, like how to create a trust and safe environment for kids while the metaverse ages up
- Create features and infrastructure to help the next billions users register, login, and protect their accounts
- Integrate identity across the product, including with other Groups such as Avatar
- Own Roblox-unique challenges like parental controls, multiple user personas, and more
- Build systems that ban bad actors and spammers
