Scopely is looking for a Director of Marketing to join our Star Trek Fleet Command game in Culver City on a hybrid basis working 3 days a week from the hub!

The Director of Marketing is the lead marketer in the organization for Star Trek Fleet Command and is ultimately responsible for crafting and overseeing the delivery of category-winning marketing that drives healthy and sustainable player and revenue growth. Success in this role will be evaluated by showing positive results in return on ad spend (ROAS), early retention, DAU, recurring customers, returning customers, and organic installs.
What You Will Do
- Develop a marketing strategy focused on identifying opportunities to expand the audience through traditional and non-traditional avenues while partnering with the Sr. Director of Growth on in-game improvements that add value to players
- Represent the marketing efforts and strategy for Star Trek Fleet Command to senior leadership
- Define and drive that strategy as a unified effort across all marketing channels including Brand, Performance Marketing (UA), PR, App Store presence and more
- Work hand-in-glove with Star Trek Fleet Command’s Growth, Product and Performance teams to ensure our player experience is cohesive. Collaborate with central marketing teams and departments to execute components of the strategy, including Performance Marketing (UA), Marketing Data & Analytics, Creative and Player Research
- Analyze data and use insights to optimize and refine marketing campaigns in order to maximize return on ad spend
- Ensure brand alignment and approvals with Paramount (the IP holder)
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on mobile game marketing and user acquisition
- Experience working in the mobile gaming industry on a strategy game is required
- Deep understanding of the marketing ecosystem
- Strong analytical skills
- Proven track record of managing large-scale marketing campaigns across multiple channels
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
For candidates in CA, CO, NJ, NY and WA, the annual salary range is $150,000- 200,000 plus equity, bonus and benefits including healthcare benefits, retirement benefits, pet insurance, paid holidays, paid Scopely free days, and unlimited paid time-off. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience .
