Director of Developer Relations

CTRL-labs is developing a wearable neural interface for the wrist/forearm that allows creators to build revolutionary new experiences and applications in VR/AR, gaming, robotics, health, productivity and more. We are launching an early release of our technology, CTRL-kit, in the upcoming months.

As Director of Developer Relations, you will be driving the company’s strategy for identifying and engaging key communities of developers and creators, with the long-term goal of building an expansive ecosystem for our neural interface platform across various markets.

Responsibilities

• Define developer engagement strategy for initial launch of the CTRL-kit device and SDK.
• Build relationships with developers, creators and thought-leaders that will lead to leveraged platform adoption, and the development of high-impact, revolutionary new applications and experiences.
• Create and evangelize our value proposition to developers and partners.
• Develop business strategy and tactics to win CTRL-kit adoption.
• Work across internal marketing and technical teams to identify market segments, product/feature priorities, and tactics for engaging creators and influencers.
• Set up and refine systems, processes and programs for communicating with, supporting and inspiring developer communities (website, support, events, social media etc).
• Work with leadership team to accelerate and expand adoption of our technology by prioritizing, sequencing and mapping future releases.

Requirements

• 5+ years in the technology industry, with specific experience in developer relations, marketing and programs.
• Experience in launching and cultivating platform technology that scales to hundreds of thousand of developers, and millions of end users.
• Familiarity with VR, AR, gaming, robotics and human-computer interaction a plus.
• Degree in CS, EE or other technical field preferred but not required.
