Director, Security Engineering

Job Description

Responsible for leading the platform security engineering teams, building the mechanisms to protect against challenges of the mixed reality world!

Candidates must be able to understand the security needs and potential threats, maintain the roadmap of security mechanisms for the ML platform, and lead the efforts during implementation and integration with remote teams.

The scope includes the entire platform, from the the early boot stages, TrustZone, the linux kernel, all the way to services and applications.

Responsibilities

• Leading the platform security engineering efforts within the SW organization
• Building and maintaining the roadmap of security features, including OS hardening and exploitation mitigation techniques
• Assist other teams to build secure features, and comply with security best practices

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a team lead
• Advantage: experience as a groups leader
• Experience in leading a team within a global organization
• Experience in complex integration with many other teams
• 5+ years of experience in low level software development
• Practical experience in C and C++ programming and script programming
• Practical experience with OS security, vulnerability exploitation and hardening techniques
• Practical experience in network communications & network security (incl. basic crypto algorithms)
• Deep understanding of OS internal concepts
• Advantage: Linux kernel programming
• Advantage: System architecture design experience
• Advantage: Previous work on embedded platforms

Education

• Relevant B.A/M.Sc. or ex-army technology unit
