Director, Platform & Ecosystem Product Marketing

Job Description
Reporting to the VP of Product Marketing & Planning as the Director of Platform & Ecosystem Product Marketing, you will drive marketing strategies and activities designed to showcase Magic Leap’s technology leadership and increase our hardware, platform and feature adoption for Enterprise/B2B AR & Spatial Computing usages. You will develop strategy for go-to-market and execute programs aimed at increasing loyalty and increasing solutions ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
- Develop hardware and ecosystem go-to-market strategy, execute product marketing plans, collateral, messaging and resources in support of critical platform milestones, supply relevant product information about new launches, features, roadmaps and tools, manage disclosure schedules and support industry events.
- Develop technical marketing strategies and co-marketing programs aimed at creating and engaging a healthy hardware & solutions ecosystem and developer community that advocates for our product in order to drive meaningful growth and awareness for solutions that work with Magic Leap hardware and increase confidence in our product.
- Define and execute platform showcase and ecosystem/solution related launch activities, messaging, content and campaign strategy in partnership with Product, Sales, Corporate Marketing and Business Development teams, as well as in collaboration with Marketing teams at Ecosystem Partner companies when applicable.
- Develop and deliver GTM & Sales Enablement programs with ecosystem partner companies when applicable with the goal of driving scale. Own and nurture relationships with external ecosystem marketing peers and internal stakeholders.
- Be recognized as the subject matter expert both inside Magic Leap and in the industry on AR & spatial solutions that work best with Magic Leap; ensure ecosystem and solution feedback metrics, trends, and topics are captured and leverage to inform future product, development priorities and overall product marketing strategy.
- Partner with Product, Sales Engineers, Business Development and Ecosystem Partners to develop strategy, execution and operational process that ensures a healthy demonstration environment of solutions (demos) in support of Sales needs, events, PR and Analysts activities.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience business development/ technical/product marketing
- Proven track record of hands-on expertise with XR technologies and demonstrated knowledge of AR/VR/MR/XR ecosystem.
- Experience in producing/building XR solutions and digital twins highlighly desired.
- Experience with software development lifecycle and ability to communicate complex technical concepts in meaningful/actionable ways.
- Demonstrate understanding of enterprise hardware-based solution implementation and scale process.
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
- Self-starter who is experienced in successfully taking programs from concept to execution.
- Demonstrate a passion for relating to technical audiences and making sophisticated concepts simple to understand for users.
- Experienced at successfully multi-tasking a variety of critical priorities.
- Highly collaborative and is able to influence and work across cross-functional teams.
- Show success in having tackled ambiguous problems and broken them down into well-scoped solutions.
- Strong project/program management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, and communication skills.
