Director, Information Technology

As the Director of IT for Millennium Print Group you will be responsible for developing and managing an organization that demonstrates a culture of customer service, process orientation, and cost-effective management of services and resources by aligning with industry standards for Infrastructure Management, Service Management, Business applications and Manufacturing. You will build an IT operations organization that is focused on meeting customer SLAs, while balancing the cost of supporting internal back-office functions. Effective cross-location collaboration and management is essential to success in this position. Demonstrated ability to lead a team that is accountable for all aspects of service availability, reliability, quality, and capacity.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain a roadmap to achieve objectives of the business with the use of efficient processes and technology
- Partner with leadership and key stakeholders to understand business imperatives, establish priorities, and guide the vision for an agile team that delivers predictable, high-quality outcomes.
- Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to build a quality, modern platform that scales, ensuring overall architecture fits the business problem
- Determine the best support structure for all systems whether that is using internal or external teams
- Implementing partnering and managing outsourcing partners for infrastructure support services
- Management of specific services includes measuring, reporting, and tracking customer satisfaction; monitoring for SLA variances; measuring, reporting, and tracking service performance; developing and reviewing cost models used for billing; and developing and implementing opportunities to continuously improve IT service quality.
- Create and maintain all technical documentation supporting Infrastructure management and IT Operations delivery.
- Works closely with VP and IT Leadership team to develop and implement a world class IT environment.
- Collaborate with the Information Security team to ensure current and future technology is secure
- Management of all aspects of IT systems including long-range strategy planning, implementing annual roadmaps, managing team resources, optimizing operational processes, management reporting, and related continuous improvement.
- Prepare effective business cases for systems improvements and/or alternative new systems, clearly articulating non-financial and financial benefits and costs, and influencing various stakeholders effectively.
- Manage a team, which includes hiring, performance management, assigning work, and training
What You’ll Bring
- 10+ years of experience in IT service operations
- 10+ years of system solutions delivery experience.
- 10+ years of experience managing a team of technical experts
- 3+ years of supporting manufacturing systems
- Organizational Awareness: Can rapidly develop and maintain in-depth organizational awareness of IT and its business and technology partners.
- Excellent analytical abilities, project coordination, and time management skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- ITIL certification highly desirable.

What to Expect
- Implementations, upgrades, and maintenance work are performed off hours.
- The role will support both Bellevue, London, and other offices as we grow which will require a flexible schedule that can start early in the morning or go a little later into the evening.
