About the Position

The Twitch Finance team is responsible for driving the Planning/Forecasting periodical cycles as well as leading in-depth financial analysis on complex projects. As the Director, EMEA Finance, you will be a key member of the EMEA leadership team and the lead interface with the US Finance team. This primarily entails building and maintaining complex forecasting models, optimizing KPI metrics to enhance financial results, leading monthly/quarterly P&L reviews, provide strategic thought partnership to the local EMEA Managing Director as well as long-term strategic planning for Revenue/Costs. This role is an individual contributor position.

Responsibilities

• Lead Finance efforts in EMEA, building trusting relationships and influencing outcomes
• Act as a thought leader to our Business partners and develop a 5-year financial roadmap for the EMEA region
• Lead in-depth monthly, quarterly re-forecasts as well as periodical Business Reviews
• Prioritize investments by leading strategic cost-benefit analysis (including ROI, LTV and other similar financial models)
• Oversee the development/improvement of complex forecasting models and provide coaching to less experienced team members
• Partner closely with the EMEA Accounting leadership, Tax and Corporate Strategy on core strategic initiatives
• Hire and retain the best talent and develop them into future leaders
• Prepare clear and deliver concise written/verbal analysis and recommendations to Executives

• Understand the industry and the business to deliver actionable insights

Requirements

• A total minimum experience of 10+ years with at least 5 years of experience managing teams in a Technology Finance leadership role
• At least 5 years of previous experience in the Technology industry with 2+ years specifically in the online streaming business
• At least 2 years of external consulting experience (strategy or finance) and experience in a cross-functional and cross-border finance function
• Specific experience in the subscription monetization business
• Business savviness and the ability to translate complex business operating models and operational KPIs into financial performance
• Team-first mentality and helps elevate Finance in the organization
• Strategic and proactive problem-solver, sees ahead and removes hurdles before they happen
• Solid knowledge of US GAAP principles with CPA or equivalent license
• Ability to interact effectively with C-suite level executives
• SQL knowledge and ability to perform queries
