Director, Delivery - Transformation

Summary
Reporting to the Vice President of Transformation, Delivery, this role leads the strategic planning and implementation of complex Transformation initiatives across the Aristocrat group of businesses. The Director will have a strong background in program management, excellent leadership skills, and experience managing cross-functional teams. In execution, this role will partner with the change enablement function to enable / coach business leaders and change champions as part of the successful execution of program plans. This role requires demonstrated relevant experience managing large scale / complex change programs of work from idea through to post-implementation review.
The ideal candidate for this role will have deep experience in cross-functional team leadership, management consulting (internal or external), complex program delivery, business planning, or equivalent experience, preferably within the technology, media, or telecommunications sectors. To be successful in the role, the leader will need to be someone who can thrive in an unstructured, collaborative environment and can distil complex problems into actionable work and help drive programs to completion. This role is central to the execution of the corporate strategy over the next few years and will require a focus on both successful Transformation and on supporting the ongoing maturity of Aristocrat’s change capability.Pay Range
$147,000-$273,000What you'll do
- Work with key stakeholders to define, plan, execute & govern Transformational initiatives while leading the teams responsible for the successful delivery of these enterprise-wide programs of work
- Oversee the development, refinement and implementation of program management processes, tools, and templates
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure program alignment with business goals
- Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional teams, ensuring that all team members are working towards program goals
- Identify and manage program risks and issues, and develop and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure programs are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
- Manage program budgets, ensuring cost and value centric financial targets are met
- Provide regular updates to executive team on program status, risks, and issues
- Identify value-add opportunities, think “outside the box” and deliver valuable strategic program/project insight to business partners
What we're looking for
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in program management, including experience managing large-scale programs with cross-functional teams
- Experience in delivery of programs using waterfall, agile and hybrid methodologies
- Experience developing and implementing program management processes, tools, and templates
- Collaborative approach to working with Business Owners in leading large and complex programs
- Domain expertise in operating model transformation, technology implementation, data & analytics, process improvement and/or strategy implementation
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and manage program risks and issues
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Extensive experience influencing, applying emotional intelligence, overcoming resistance to change, organizational savvy, and partnering for client’s success
- Relevant degree qualifications highly desirable
