POSITION SUMMARY
BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America is searching for a Director, Creative Operations to lead a team of project managers, creative talent, and external partners to provide high impact materials to promote the company’s rich portfolio of products. This position is an integral member of the publishing team and plays an important role in the success of marketing campaigns. The Director, Creative Operations will guide the team on both the creative front and the operational side of asset creation. This role will require a mix of strategy and executional know-how to accomplish the needs of the organization. This is a very important, high-profile position for an exciting video game company with an exciting and profitable portfolio of games.
Flexible, Remote and Work From Home options are available for this position until approximately April 2022. Afterwards we expect all employee's to join us at our new offices in Irvine, California where a hybrid work schedule will be observed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the vision and culture of the team and be the key liaison between the team and all high-level leaders in the organization/company.
- Lead the team and agency partners to create compelling high impact game marketing assets that will excite fans.
- Manage creative production process for all publishing materials to ensure high quality assets are delivered on time. Coordinate project scheduling, job routing, project approvals, and vendor management.
- Manage the budgets, contracts, and scoping for all creative projects with external partners.
- Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure that projects are scoped correctly, and expectations are surpassed.
- Manage the entire portfolio of projects simultaneously and effectively.
- Ensure that licensor, ESRB, and 1 st party requirements are implemented correctly and consistently.
- Manage project approval process with internal stakeholders, licensors, ESRB, 1 st party, developers, and other groups as required.
- Organize and maintain asset database so that stakeholders can access, navigate, and use easily and effectively.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage an internal team of 12 people and external agencies/vendors.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- 10+ years of creative services experience with at least 5 years of management experience.
- Proven track record in managing creative teams for high-quality work.
- Must possess outstanding attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Understanding of digital marketing and its current work needs.
- Deep knowledge of project management tools, digital asset management tools, and Adobe Creative Suite.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in marketing, graphic design, or related fields.
