This is an opportunity to be part of an evolving and growing Finance team. The Digital Revenue Analyst will support the Digital Revenue Accountant and Digital Revenue Reporting Manager in all aspects of royalty statements, to ensure the company is reporting correctly and maximizing profitability.
Responsibilities
- Preparation and loading of monthly revenue statements for Digital customers (1st and 3rd Party), which will include:
- Stock reconciliations for 3rd Party Digital customer statements, following up with customers on variances and making necessary stock adjustments
- Revenue reconciliations for all Digital customer statements (1st and 3rd Party), again making sure any variances are properly investigated
- Preparation and loading of quarterly royalty statements for Licensing partners
- Ensuring a detailed knowledge of all customer contracts is gained, so that any breaches of contract can be easily identified
- Frequent communication with external customers, checking that all reports and payments are kept up to date
- Maintaining the ‘Licensing Tracker’, to ensure any amendments to contracts such as minimum guarantees are received as expected
- Maintaining the ‘Promotion Approval Form’, making sure the latest list of titles and approved discount levels are captured within it
- Working closely with the Digital Revenue Accountant to update any pricing or VAT changes in all reconciliation files, in a timely manner
- Maintaining an accurate view of any ad-hoc stock provided for promotional (or other) purposes and ensuring that these are recorded and invoiced as agreed
- Building and maintaining good relationships with both internal Sales team and external customers
- Aiding with month-end accruals and adjustments when required
- Other Ad-hoc tasks as required
Qualifications
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Strong attention to detail with an organised approach to workload and tasks
- Team player but also comfortable working independently
- Strong initiative: able to investigate issues with data and follow up/resolve with minimal supervision
- Confidence in communicating both internally and externally; on the phone, over video conferencing and in person
- Approachable, helpful and friendly; able to build good rapport and working relationships with colleagues
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Flexibility with working days around month-end, ensuring sensitive deadlines are met
