Summary
As the tactical owner of email marketing on the Player Lifecycle Management team, the Email Marketing Manager at Krafton is tasked with executing promotional, campaign, automated email programs, and all the ancillary activities that support them, across multiple game franchises and geographic regions.
Working with teammates and other disciplines across the Americas publishing team, this role must be the absolute master of our email marketing platform and possess superior project management and “big picture” scheduling and calendar management. All of this is done in service of and as support to the overall KRAFTON ID player account system’s growth and evolution. This role will traffic in templates, contacts lists, segments, publishing priorities with an eye on quality and in alignment with overall team and division goals.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Day to day execution of email marketing programs including testing, quality assurance, contact list hygiene, segmentation refinement, light coding, and management of multiple concurrent projects
- Regularly team up with Lifecycle Management and Marketing leadership to identify improvement opportunities and elevate performance; with the continuing development of best practices around engagement drivers, messaging preferences and device usage as priorities.
- Comprehensive project management of all email activities including sourcing timely assets and information from teammates
- Own the creation, development, and maintenance of automated processes in a dynamic multi-campaign, multi-franchise, multi-regional environment
- Develop and maintain “user knowledge databases” that collect topical content around game features, franchise priorities, and the KRAFTON brand. Refresh and repurpose as necessary
- Build and enhance content calendars as part of the seasonal planning process
- Work with analytics teams to contribute to overall strategic vision
- Produce weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc KPI reporting for leadership teams
- Collaborate with Publishing Tech to facilitate website functionality and design
- Support and supplement all Player Lifecycle Management initiatives across disciplines as necessary
Required Minimum Experience
- 3-5 years of experience working in a global email marketing role
- 3-5 years of experience working in a full spectrum CRM/email marketing platform
- Intimate knowledge of anti-spam and deliverability best practices
- Self-starter that can manage multiple projects simultaneously, including those owned by other teammates
- Strong communicator and strategic thinker with proven ability to influence decision making process
- Working knowledge of data privacy compliance
Preferred Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Business, or related marketing field
