Craftsman+ wants to add a Digital Art Director of Gaming to their growing team of individuals who are passionate and committed in the pursuit of creative excellence and understanding consumer needs.

The Role

We are looking for a U.S.-based Art Director - Performance Marketing, Gaming with deep knowledge and practical experience working off creative briefs, multiple conceptual directions, and style guides in a top consumer-facing client role. The Responsibilities

• Executing strategic campaigns, bringing vision to life through style guides, in-situ design iterations, decks, mockups, and final deliverables.
• Raising the creative bar with each iteration and conceptualizations, analyzing the work with data wherever possible.
• Crafting work from briefs, multiple conceptual directions, campaign assets, and retrospectives on project work.
• Presenting to and collaborating with multiple Client Stakeholders.
• Driving campaigns. Adopting mechanisms, making decisions that improve the approach to campaigns.
• Leading, inspiring and developing teams to broaden their awareness of campaign opportunities. You are a master of design, motion design, and design software. You are able to help the team problem-solve, level up, and improve their design by communicating clear narratives at each stage. You can champion the quality of each deliverable.
• Leading performance marketing and growth marketing strategies.

The Essential Skills and Experience

• AAA Game marketing and/or advertisement is highly preferred.
• At least 8 years of experience in gaming advertisement and/or marketing. Translating strategy into innovative, high-quality concepts that are native to each platform and deliver results (brand affinity, UA acquisition, subscription growth, and engagement)
• BA/BS in design or equivalent.
• Proficient with digital design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, Photoshop, sketch for diverse formats (video editing, motion graphics, graphic design)
• Understanding in designing for digital advertising ad platforms.
• Mentoring and coaching. Team Management experience is highly preferred.
• Web, interactive content, and UX/UI is a huge plus.
• Ability to work within brand guidelines to produce work that is both original and on brand.
• Demonstrates strong communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage multiple deadlines.
• Have a track record for creating visually compelling works.

The Desirable Skills and Experiences

• Experience in paid social advertising on web and mobile.
• Experience in Cinema 4D, Sketch, video editing and basic HTML & CSS skills.
• Experience with both B2B and B2C marketing.
