Development Test Coordinator

Job Description
The incumbent coordinates the work and relations of the internal and external teams assigned to a project in order to meet development test (dev test) needs.
Reporting to the project quality control manager, the incumbent manages all operational and logistical dev test tasks between the studio in Montréal and the external co-development teams.
What you’ll do
- Ensure the proper functioning of the Jira database: provide support for bug creation and handle related issues;
- Establish and communicate testing procedures to ensure that the teams involved in a project’s dev tests have all the information they require on issues, questions, reports, etc.;
- Validate test results to ensure that they are reliable and that the final submissions are bug-free by making certain that the studios follow procedures and meet deadlines;
- Follow up on the advancement of the daily tests (daily reports, changelists, etc.) and issues and ensure that bugs are corrected;
- Coordinate test priority management between internal and external teams in order to meet deadlines;
- Help develop documentation and presentations, conduct assessments and suggest improvements to current methods and procedures in an effort to enhance best dev test practices;
- Carry out all other related tasks.
Qualifications
What you bring
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- College diploma and/or video game tester training an asset.
- Relevant experience:
- Three years’ experience as a dev tester or other relevant experience.
- Ability to write in French and English;
- Knowledge of video game industry terminology.
- Proactivity;
- Consciousness of the needs of direct collaborators;
- Organization skills and ability to manage concurrent projects;
- Adaptation skills;
- Good interpersonal and communication skills;
- Analytical skills;
- Attention to detail.
