Development Manager - Production Coordinator

EA Create Capture creates quality in all aspects of our work. We are driven and focused on creating high-end performance capture content and production across multiple genres and art styles. We balance high volumes of assets to support our game development partners around the world.
Responsibilities
- Ensure your team understands the development partner motion capture goals
- Advocate for the Capture team's needs to meet qualitative and timeline requirements
- Maintain an inclusive environment and address any conflict with teams
- Develop positive working relationships with internal and external development partner teams
- Develop partnerships to deliver exceptional motion capture recording experiences
- Serve as a communicator between all parties relevant to your work
- Host pre-production meetings and communicate the opportunities, challenges and dependencies
- Work with your teams to build a recording session schedule that aligns dependencies and budget expectations
- Coordinate the team's dependencies to support motion capture recording scopes
- Coordinate project resources toward achieving project goals
- Ensure recording plans support project schedules
- Align with artists and craft experts on a regular basis regarding workload, targets and needs
- Work with supervisors and lead in crewing, casting and scheduling bodies of work to meet overall production schedule and team needs
- Maintain asset management toolsets to organise and task development priorities
- Escalate and address impact of changes to plan
- Recognise and escalate any change that affects budget to Operations team
- Motivate approaches to overcome challenges
- Help the team make swift decisions to keep forward momentum
- Keep a weekly synopsis of discipline accomplishments and next steps
- Establish processes for communicating discipline targets, assignments and priorities to crew
Qualifications
- 5+ years as a Production Coordinator or Project Manager at a video game, VFX or entertainment company
- Autonomous worker with the ability to coordinate on-set recording activities
- You are familiar with digital character creation and animation
- You understand video game or entertainment production processes and pipelines
- You have experience coordinating recording session scope and asset deliverables
- You have experience working with asset and project management systems like Shotgrid and Monday.com
- You use project management methodologies, like Waterfall and Agile
- You can coordinate with people across several time zones and organisational levels
- You are detailed focused, organised and always assessing development priorities
- You maintain solution focused to overcome challenge
