Business Development Lead

WHAT IMPACT CAN A BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT LEAD HAVE AT ESG?

East Side Games’ Business Development Lead is a critical lead member of the Business Development team and is responsible for discovering the best game developers in the world and forming partnerships with them to make awesome ESG games! The Lead will help ESG build world-class Developer Relations practices and help us build the team.

You will focus on finding the best developers who have the skills and passion to make games with East Side Games, and help them understand the value and impact they will have by partnering with ESG. You will be heavily involved with matching our brands and IP to the developers that you have ready - for example: which developer will make the next Office: How We Manage?

You must love solving problems and getting shit done, oh and working with some of the coolest game studios in the biz!

WHAT YOU MIGHT DO IN YOUR DAY TO DAY

• Be a trusted advisor with our Developer partners by deeply understanding their business, their capabilities, and aligning their needs to our solutions
• Be a steward of the company by vetting and signing only the best Developers to make ESG Games
• Outreach, pitching, and signing Developer agreements
• Advocating for Developers within ESG - be the voice of the customer and let us know what they need and want
• Be the ESG expert: provide expertise on our technology Kits, roadmap of technology and product offerings, assist on upgrade planning, and advise on key features and functionality
• Build bigger: help build the Developer Relations team by operating as the Lead; develop Go-To-Market plans and execute, bring your proven practices to help us scale, and help structure how the team operates

WHAT YOU BRING TO ESG

• 3-5 years of Developer Relations experience in customer facing roles such as Sales, Business Development, or Account Management
• Experience with Game Publishing, Advertising, and/or Platforms is a plus
• Strong consultative and strategic customer relationship management experience
• Significant experience engaging and communicating with C-level and senior executives, internal and external
• Excellent written communication skills oriented on addressing, documenting, and solving complex business issues and opportunities
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s Degree required
