DevOps Specialist (DNA)

The DNA team develops and manages a variety of data services and tools for storing and analyzing game telemetry. Known as a company-wide reference and trusted source, our products provide:

• real-time visibility on how Ubisoft titles are played; and
• an understanding of the habits and preferences of the people playing them.

Committed to knowledge sharing, we collect, process, and curate in-game data. Then transform it into clear and informative visualizations. The result? Meaningful metrics for production teams to make informed decisions and create even better gaming experiences.

As a DevOps Specialist at Ubisoft Montreal, you’ll ensure the proper functioning of servers, tools, and processes, while embracing the DevOps philosophy.

In a cutting-edge environment with a range of technologies like Kafka, Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, ArgoCD, etc. You will join a group of online programmers developing and managing microservices at scale mainly written in Scala, using a variety of new tech solutions to serve our big data platform.

What you'll do

• Be a go-to person and expert in all topics DevOps (e.g. automation, infrastructure design, provisioning, configuration management, deployment, monitoring, continuous integration and delivery, etc.)
• Support the growth of our products by creating innovative and automated solutions at scale
• Evaluate and integrate technologies & review and adapt our best practices
• Be an integral part of the dev team, collaborating to improve current processes and tools and define new ones
• Stay up to date on technological breakthroughs and emerging trends.

• AWS expertise
• Proficiency in using or managing a variety of open source technologies, databases, tools, and cloud services
• A collaborative spirit and results-oriented focus
• Ability to solve problems & take initiatives
• Attention to detail, critical thinking, resourcefulness, and plenty of flexibility
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
