Wonderstorm is a double threat media studio that creates timeless animated TV series and engaging video games that anchor our entertainment franchises.
Our first franchise, the Emmy Award-winning The Dragon Prince , began as an original animated series on Netflix in 2018. All three seasons have been a Top 10 digital original and are rated 100% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes. The series was recently picked up for four additional seasons. A world-class video game for The Dragon Prince is under development by the same creative team.
We’re looking for a talented IT/DevOps Engineer to bring their expert knowledge to bear in supporting our development of The Dragon Prince game.
What you will do...
- Integrate Pragma.gg's infrastructure tooling offerings (Buildkite, Keybase, Vault, Packer, Terraform, AWS EC2, etc.) into our CI/CD pipeline
- Work with Buildkite and TeamCity to develop DevOps tools and workflows for backend platform development, QA, and testing
- Support the scale of a live services game and provide visibility into health and metrics
- Implement and maintain tools and services to support game development, including: source control, branching and merging automation, internal deployment tools, and testing
- Actively contribute to the growth of a startup studio. Lead by example, including demonstrating a willingness to give and receive feedback, collaborate with others to share techniques, and contribute to a positive working environment
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience
- Relevant experience: source control, CI/CD, IT operations (planning, scripting, deployment, and support), and build systems
- Proficiency in higher-level languages, examples include Python, Java, Kotlin, Groovy, Scala, F#, Racket, Clojure, Erlang, etc.
- Proficiency in verbal and written communication of technical concepts
- Ability to work with a high degree of self-direction and motivation
- Creative nature with strong problem-solving skills

- Worked on a live-services game in a DevOps capacity
- AWS experience
- Terraform Experience
