DevOps Engineer - IT Team

In this role you will be supporting and working with our internal development teams across multiple disciplines and projects.
You will be expected to investigate and solve problems with internal systems and the infrastructure upon which they live. Working closely with the Central Engineering team who build custom solutions you will aid them in deployments, CI/CD and infrastructure management. Alongside this you will serve as a resource and advisor for the wider business with similar tasks.
Your Opportunity:
- You will maintain internal CI/CD systems with your team, helping others within the company to achieve their CI goals.
- You will work closely with engineers to solve problems they are facing with cloud systems.
- You will explore new technologies and functionality of existing systems to help continuously improve our processes.
Why You’re Made for This:
- You are very experienced with CI/CD concepts and systems.
- Familiarity with infrastructure/orchestration technologies (Terraform, Ansible, K8s etc).
- You are motivated by a desire to learn and to share your knowledge with others and shine in an environment of shared learning.
- Experience ingesting restful APIs and webhooks.
- You’re familiar with operating in production, inside cloud-native infrastructure using one or more large scale cloud platforms.
- An interest in the inner workings of enterprise platforms such as Google Workspace and Azure Active directory.
- You’re customer focussed and enjoy solving problems to help teams succeed.
- Experience with Core Technologies which we use day to day:CI: Buildkite, Github ActionsIAC/Orchestration. Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Puppet, MDMCloud; GCP, AWS as well as Baremetal; High end compute VMs; Slack (inc Webhooks/Apps), ELK/Grafana.
