What We Need:
- We’re seeking a Debugging Tools Engineer for our Novato, CA location. You've always wanted to improve the debuggers you used. You feel passionate about developing high-quality interactive tools that could be used to catch, dissect and fix tricky bugs crippling the games you love.
- The Debugging Tools Group focuses on developing and maintaining custom tools and techniques used by our game engineering team in their development of NBA 2K’s series of games. Most of the tools are written in C/C++ using custom in-house libraries
Who We Think Will Be A Great Fit:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science
- Strong C++ skills
- Able to diagnose and solve problems quickly and independently
- Able to write clean, bug free, well-documented and efficient code
- Good communication skills
- Interest in debugging and programmer-detective kind of work is a plus
