Overview

A rapid growth of our Company has created a new role for a Manager of Data Engineering. The Manager of Data Engineering will work in a Data Rich environment and will be tasked with building & shaping our data engineering team to help deploy cutting edge data acquisition and management techniques in a number of different areas of the company.

Work is possible from any region, but in the time zone of Moscow as we are fully remote. Working hours from 10:00 to 19:00.

The Manager of Data Engineering will be responsible for:

• Building the Company’s Big Data Lake;
• Migrating legacy technology to new infrastructure;
• Pushing and optimizing various data-related cutting-edge technologies;
• Hiring, mentoring and managing data engineering team;
• Acting as evangelist for key stakeholders to promote data-driven culture;
• Infrastructure Management around the large volumes of data being collected.

Requirements

• T-SQL/SQL - expert level
• PowerBI – expert level
• ETL – expert level
• OLAP cubes
• Dashboards and reporting
• Apache Airflow
• SQL Server
• Python
• Databricks (good to have)
• Spark
• We are looking for candidates with at least 5 years as Data engineer / BI and a proven team management experience.
